About the Bell

Good afternoon all, Julie's daughter Heidi here to explain: The Bell Julie is set to ring on Friday is hanging at the Cancer Clinic!

Every person —terminal, newly diagnosed, on their 9th treatment— gets the chance to ring the bell after the have finished a round of radiation! We hope treatments may extend Julie's life and give us as much time with her as we can have.

Each round is hard on the body and mind, so ringing the bell breaks it up and allows a moment to celebrate.
