I am rocking the “Pirate Look” today!

Why are pirates called pirates? Well, they just RRRRRRR. This is what you look like when not only are you in active chemo & radiation treatment for brain cancer but you also have your every-six-weeks-eye-injection from having had the Oct. 19th/2019 central retinal vein occlusion in my left eye.

Thus, I wear my patch like a pseudo bandage just to help the fresh injection site of my eyeball heal a bit and also to remind myself not to rub my left eye since I’ve just had an injection. So, if I would put my hand up to rub my eye and that would be bad, thus if I wear my eyepatch, I don’t touch the eye. This is why I’m wearing the pirate patch and I am having a rockin’ day.
