To all Mothers

Happy Mother’s Day to everybody from this past Sunday!

First off, I hope you’re all having a great Mother’s Day and able to enjoy your day.

Also, I hope you’re able to enjoy all that Life has to offer you.

My latest news is that Monday, I had my latest MRI to check on the growth of the malignant glioblastoma brain tumour which I’m fighting.

I have had four potassium infusions, which are not that fun because potassium is a salt and salt in your veins really does hurt a lot so the IVs are cut with saline and the last time I had it, it took four hours, but that’s OK. I just read my book. My platelets were down but now they’re up so now I can start the intensive chemotherapy that’s for five days.

Then I take a break with the MRI we will reassess for the next stage and the next round of intensive chemotherapy.

Life is good and every day I can draw a breath, I am blessed. I thank God and I praise God for another day to draw a breath and a visit with my kids and grandkids and family and to have another opportunity to make the world a better place.
